On the Walkway
looking back at the highway
I have travelled so far
almost to the end of land
watching the waves bashing the shore
the mountains grasping the sky
rain that romanced floods
wind that turned to typhoons
I wonder why I am here
I travelled through alone
knowing and understanding
love can turn to dusts
sweet memories carry pain
friends come and go
profess eternal friendship
the next day to leave
I still wonder why
I stand here
On this pathway
thinking of all those
who have gone away to far away
or beyond this life
What am I doing here
what purpose do I serve
I wish I knew
I wonder.
