And You Know Pain (tribute to my friends with real pain)
Have you every cut yourself so deep
the blood was blue before the blade was through?
cut so deep the numbness soon takes over and you feel nothing?
cut so big everyone thought it was a mistake
cut real small but still made it to the shoulder?
No? And you know pain?
have you ever went to a camp just to learn to tie a rope...
to hang yourself?
have you went to school with rope burn on your neck
that resembled a sloppy hickey?
have you dangled from a ceiling fan waiting for darkness?
have you broken your closet shelf with your burden?
No? And you know pain?
have you ever taken so many pills
the cramps don't stop?
laid in bed foaming at the mouth
with an empty sleeping pill bottle in hand?
gone to sleep only to wake up sad to be alive?
gone into a fury when you didn't have enough pills to over dose?
No? And you know pain?
you don't know pain and you don't want to
you envy people who feel it...THATS FU*KING SELFISH!
you DONT know pain not a day in your life
all you know is hurt...atleast that fades
the scars of pain don't
and guess what?..
ive seen you naked....
