If She Ever Decides to Come Back

Sunshine, you’ve become
The darkness I’d rather forget.
Makes twice that I’ve succumbed
To your coldhearted threats.
Baby it’s alright, because your next lover
Will take a whiff of you.
Oh, he’ll choke on your repulsive scent.
He’ll eventually smell death.

You said you were a bitch.
I was too kind, but that thought
Was one I should have never ditched.
Forgave your every mistake without a hitch.
Stitched things up on the clock, tick, tick, tick.
Don’t come crying back
When you realize what you’ve did.

I’ll banish the beast
Right back to where it came from.
Let the darkness feast
On your soulless body, till it drives you to bedlam.

Don’t be selfish thinking about only yourself
Like you always do.
You had a meal today; let your demise eat too.

There’s nothing good
About putting rubble of a heart back together.
Starting over from scratch is always the worst part.

Don’t ever come back to me.
You’re not the prescription that meets
What I need.
