I'm afraid to close my eyes,
because I fear they might never return.

because I fear it will never come true.
I'm afraid to live to the full,
because I fear my life will spill.
I'm afraid to hear my heart beat,
because I fear it might beat its last.
I'm afraid to fall deeply in love,
because I fear I might drown to my death.
I'm afraid to actually die,
because I fear I will no longer exist.
But mostly and most of all,
I am afraid,to fear.
