Rage infused emotions
Hurt abuse and lost
Firing back is instinct
Not realizing the cost

Cant take anymore
Just lye down and give in
Cant be anything more
The pain can win

Its what it all feels like
All this surely can not be true
To many years of life together
who is determining we are through

I want to stand up and fight
Fight for what can be
Having another day without love
Is a future I dare not see

Love never dies
Only lost or tested

It can never be bested

I arm myself with new weapons
Weapons of understanding
Open arms of forgiveness
No more war waging

I truly believe in love
Its strength is unbreakable
Different levels of understanding
Love can be unstoppable

You except the person
Everything about them
Help them heal their scars
Don't use them against them

So understand when to fight
Or what you are fighting for
It isn't for that very moment
It is for so much more
