Blooms; a trilogy of Poem
1.Blooms
Pretty heads nodding
A field of colours
each seem to glorify
God's mighty hands
in its creation
Behold the Glory of God
2. Blooming
Distant single shriek
A lone woman approaches
Picked the prettiest
cutting neatly the stems
Bundling beauty on a bouquet
Armloads of decapitations
3. Bloomed
Held by solemn followers
of a slow winding cortège
Slowly wilting on pained hands
Spread on the ground
Where man says goodbye
As is, as was, as always,
dust to dust.

God's mighty hands

Behold the Glory of God
