THE UNFORGIVEN
what did you think
what did you expect
that i would fall too my knees
in a humble mess
that those crocodile smiles
and pitiful tears
would make me forget
them tobacco fingers squeezing my neck
where was your sorrow
where was your grief
when you battered me senseless
to ease your relief
and now you say that you have lamented
and guilt has got you tormented
but you see i don't really care
for i can still feel the stitches
where you opened my head
with the back of a chair
and now as you lie entombed in your miserable cell
i'm on the floor praying for your soul
to be rotting in dungeons of hell
for you have made me bitter
turned my life to the ugliest of winters
i hope you die in that stinking prison
for you will always be the UNFORGIVEN
what did you expect
that i would fall too my knees
in a humble mess
that those crocodile smiles
and pitiful tears
would make me forget
them tobacco fingers squeezing my neck
where was your sorrow
where was your grief
when you battered me senseless
to ease your relief
and now you say that you have lamented
and guilt has got you tormented
but you see i don't really care
for i can still feel the stitches
where you opened my head
with the back of a chair
and now as you lie entombed in your miserable cell
i'm on the floor praying for your soul
to be rotting in dungeons of hell
for you have made me bitter
turned my life to the ugliest of winters
i hope you die in that stinking prison
for you will always be the UNFORGIVEN
