Raiser
Written, read, recited unspoken
These words in my head
ask the mind to be open
Plotted, planed, performing unseen
Will my body withstand
the weight of my dreams?
Why do I wake up everyday
So damn surprised
The World isn't perfect
& won't change overnight
I know that the Ocean
moves with the Moon
Roosters keep 'crowing'
well after high~noon
The Sun says; Sayonara
before
It sneaks in my room
With more going on
than I can assume
Demanding without understanding
every which way that I choose
No matter how enchanting
I can't endure the abuse
Left to be re-discovered
at later date in time
Somewhere less conspicuous
with the thoughts
I've left behind...
