Mama Nature

Warmth had melted, cracking the ice,
Letting blossoms burst through.
Butterflies fluttering all about,
With nervous shutters
They create a hazy breeze
A Shining sun for warmth and hope
To bring dreams of rose filled love
But love never lasts,
No matter what’s given
Betrayal cuts through and instead,
Her gifts abused and damaged
Broken hearted angry tears flow
They flow with rapid speed
The ice inside her pouring out once again
Freezing in a single moment all it touched
She’s stuck in a hell frozen over
And her heart on her sleeve
