Starless Hearts On A Broken Sea

The 3 stars shine brightly overhead
tonight she will have a conversation with the dead
a little voice from beyond the grave asks "why me?"
her only words are "it's destiny"

little orbs float, energy that used to be
now she points at the mighty 3
everything aligned just right
everything setting itself up for the fight

if the water could walk with her it would, instead it just waves
if it could it would erase everything and make for better days,
leaving it all behind,
rain is what the water cried
