Prayers in Purgatory
muted prayers flying
like rampant raven wings
lips flapping,faith
that frayed and fluttering
tethered by bruised hearts
bound with string
buried high in the sky
deep below everything
shot down in its prime
bloody cries ricochet
drenched in dread
heavy,as hope pass away
diseased and soiled in stench
acidic rot and decay
the corroded ceiling crumble
as paint chipped walls sway
disillusion flashes
in a haze of demented darkness
smoldering embers simmer
ardent in bright red starkness
greed's regal feathers plume
blood glazed and oil slick
sizzling souls seethe
tarred and marred by pain pricks
howling like wintery winds
whisper wailing
as infected flesh fall,
fizzling and festering
bloated,bubbling,and boiling
in molten angony
and dungeonous desperation
dampen with anxiety
as walls close in
worry traps and confine
yes, fear strangles
claustrophobic minds
the heat chokes and burns,
leaving ashened brains
the only ones to excape this
are the oblivious and deranged
they have no thoughts of debt
unemployment or gas prices
none of crime,government corruption
or of the health care crisis
no concern for the planet
so go ahead cut down all the trees
no worry about guns in schools
or kids killing cause their bullied
they could care less about families
who dont even talk anymore
in this high tech world of text and email
simple conversation seems a chore
its enough to make one wonder
has everyone lost their righteous minds
and just who are the crazy ones
society has blurred that line
maybe insanity is a blessing
instead a curse...
because we are living in hell
right here on earth

Good Lordy this was a methaphorical nightmare
unleashing pon like a tsunami!! By the second half
of the piece I dazed n confused n then you slapped me harder with the bitter taste of reality n how it's no longer

muted prayers flying
Rooted in layers of lying
like rampant raven wings
They camp in a haven of blind thinking
lips flapping,faith
Stripped and trapped in place
that frayed and fluttering
They lay, broken and muttering
tethered by bruised hearts
Whenever the groove starts
bound with string
I clown to sting
buried high in the sky
Wary of every disguise
deep below everything
Peeping to show those who pull strings
shot down in its prime
Caught, grounded and mined
bloody cries ricochet
Study the disarray
drenched in dread
Clenched like teeth giving head
heavy,as hope pass away
Beast gets red in every communique
diseased and soiled in stench
Appeasement makes me tense
acidic rot and decay
Livid, prolific thoughts betray
the corroded ceiling crumble
Outmoded, still feeling the jungle
as paint chipped walls sway
Painfully stripped-- no wings-- just stains in my scapulae
disillusion flashes
No delusions, I crashed it
in a haze of demented darkness
Raise the fermented carcasses
smoldering embers simmer
Consoling amends within stirs
ardent in bright red starkness
Pardon me, I might start shit!

Feeding evil- and Normandy’s heather blooms
blood glazed and oil slick
Every day boils, time is thick
sizzling souls seethe
Missing control’s fee?
tarred and marred by pain pricks
So far scars name every trick!
howling like wintery winds
Prowling thought splintered whims
whisper wailing
Pictures failing
as infected flesh fall,
To express at all
fizzling and festering
Riddles in which we’re investing like the West Wing.
bloated,bubbling,and boiling
Floating in rubble yet foiling
in molten angony
What was told could grab me
and dungeonous desperation
I hunger thus I’m staking
dampen with anxiety
The very championship of piety
as walls close in
Call those sins
worry traps and confine
Blurry gaps in Divine
yes, fear strangles
No rest here, just angles
claustrophobic minds
Of the coldest kind
the heat chokes and burns,
This world is completely broke I learned
leaving ashened brains
Weaving my passion to reign
the only ones to excape this
Own your fate and switch
are the oblivious and deranged
Or beriddled you’ll remain!
they have no thoughts of debt
Not off scot-free yet
unemployment or gas prices
Enjoy some fast vice?
none of crime,government corruption
Funtimes traded for dysfunction
or of the health care crisis
Mental wealth is priceless
no concern for the planet
We burn every stance of it
