they roam around
yet feel caged...

Utterances
in nonsense
makes no sense
in this discombobulation
of downtrodden flesh...

They gather in herds
for a glimpse of hope,
that tomorrow's trek
will offer up some light
at the mouth of life's
darkened tunnel...

though the biggest obstacle
for anyone to their successes
is an 'excess' of the lack
of mental comprehension...

which speaks
to the simple fact
that in order to have a chance,
at a sturdier life foundation
we all need to take a glance
at a "never ending..." education...
