Synergy

Just because
the mind wants,
does not mean
the body can achieve.

The misery of
platonic pleasantries
dissolves into obscenity
Its morsels of niceties
Inevitably lead to hypocrisy.

I live therefore I need...
yet rarely do I succeed
in accomplishing
the basic civilities
Society demands
of creatures like me.

I am an animal
barely contained,
A tethered predator
leashed in a moral cage.

I hunger and mewl
in low decibels
awaiting my captor
the pharaoh,
who feeds me, my devil.

He toys with the idea of
keeping me controlled
of exploiting the passion
his third eye beholds.

Fool is the man
who cannot see
that a force of nature
could never be
brought to heel
or made to heed;
fore it is raw
kinetic energy
that will never cede
It will only acquiesce
when it is made to feel,
synergy...
