Disappointment

what must you think of me
so full of grief and misery
so over run with pain
and going insane

how must you feel
to see how bad I feel
unable to cope or accept
and so dreadfully depressed

how hard you must cry
when you see the tears
flooding my eyes
to know that I can’t let go
and just say goodbye

how sad you must be
to see such sadness in me
to know that in my heart
I feel so torn apart

how disappointed you must be
when you gaze upon me
and what you see
is just so weak

how disheartening for me
to think how I think
and to know in my heart
I’m not who you want me to be
