You're like the wind...
I can feel you
yet, can't grasp you...
You're like the rain
jettisoning in sprinkling mists
left to lie delicately upon flowers
as dew...
united petals, and drops kiss
You shine like the sun...
on a bright summer's day
you are everything, and anything
but, no matter what I say...
you've proven to be quite elusive
like the wind my love, though
silently I pray you'll always stay
rather than be like the wind
simply blowing away...

the varying rhyme scheme and lines in each stanza worked quite well with the write for it reflects the uneven quality of weather. Some of the best romantic poems here, especially with the guys touch on mother nature---and you are surely in their ranks.
