and I wonder...
Where do broken souls go...
After the battles over
and broken bones start to show...
Major fissures...
Gaping holes
When the pain...
Just overflows...
Oh ... but yall dont hear me though
Can you tell me where they go...
Where can they go
to lay burdens down...
be vulnerable...
weapons on the ground
Where can they go...
for comfort ... more
to get the soothin
when hearts are sore...
Oh can you tell...me
Where do broken souls go...
To let go and be free
No Armour...
Bare to the bone...
Can you tell me...
Where do brokens souls have
As a place to call there home...
Cause broken souls...
Are really Spiritual Soldiers...
It's our battles won that make
us older...
It's Loves' Lost...
that make us bitter...
It's no New Love...
That keeps us in winter...
It's internal grieving
that brings our rain...
It's having no place
to rest the soul...
That keeps the pain...
Oh... yall dont hear me though...

I think they all move into my house...the broken are what can be fixed...its the destroyed you have to worry about :)

...as for myself...they go deep inside, looking only upon the beautiful things, trees, skies things truly loved-refusing for months to acknowledge any of the ugliness that tries to touch...some call this the ostrich...I call it self-preservation.
Indeed sometimes weapons must be put to rest...bolt the doors and unplug phones...they say Hermits live a peaceful life...at least for a little while I explore it :)
