The End
I've loved you for so long it's gonna hurt to stop
It pains me that outta your life I'm just dropped
I'm not trying to convince you to stay
Just trying to understand all the decisions you made
I know things haven't been right
You are tired of me saying put up a fight
Why approach me with the love knowing you couldn't be right
That is something you could have told me on the first night
lol nah...but maybe a couple months after
Before all the good stuff started to matter
But I guess even in the beginning there was the eventuality that there would be an ending
As of late there is no quality time we are spending
I'm not faultless, giving the signs I chose to ignore
I just really believed there was so much in store
But I know it's over cause I just can't accept no more
I wanted you to look at me and say YES
She's worth this ride
Then all the lies and deceit wouldn't have been there to hide
Shit with all I put up with, you should have known I was here to stay
Watching these females try to show face
Even the ones I had to put in their place
The ones with smart comments or stalking my phone
Smiling in my face while thinking of giving you dome
You say it's not about them but they were the bane of our relationship
Somehow they always made it into the development
Those developments fucked the trust up
It "seemed" as if you couldn't get enough and they weren't worth giving up.
So basically I got stuck up!!
I think that was just the anger phase no spite needed
I still have morals and trust I will heed them
I love you for the good times notwithstanding the bad
I know down deep I won't stay mad
For in the beginning the salty eggs I was fed
Times chasing me through the house play fighting on the bed
For the intimate moments and love put in with my kids
So if you question why I stayed here are some of the reasons I did
Maybe friends are an option later down the line
When I won't consider someone else having what's mine
One day someone will see I'm a force to be reckoned with
all my love, trust and respect will be well worth it.

Reality can be painful but is always a road best taken and not avoided. A heart wrenching read of what can happen when two people are not on the same page.
