The Wishing Well

Tossing a coin
into the wishing well
I closed my eyes
and made my wish
that beauty crowns
each and every day
that you wake up with the dawn
should there be sorrow
standing over your light
I wish it away
and give it flight
should you feel lonely
and sad
May your heart be  soothed
by all that's good.
