Goodbye farewell
You've left your mark on this place
Pity we couldn't become friends
Now you're gone without a trace
Sad to see you leave
Giving up the fight for this site
I guess all you see is darkness
And no glimmer of hope for light
Perhaps one day
You'll return when we revive
A few are still energetic and kicking
Still very much here and alive
Goodbye farewell
Weary and beaten down souls
We wish you only the best
But are regretful to see you go

All these talented poets & unique personalities gonna ditch the party as soon as I arrive, eh? Ain't that always the way? Sets the stage for many glorious returns, in any case. Didn't get a chance to know some of you self-exiles, but happy travels to you anyway. You gotta take a break sometimes. I know this feeling very, very well. I have seen this before. They usually return. Buona fortuna, poets...
