HAILILIAH (read the preface below first)

Preface:(Conventional palindrome poems read the same forward and backward, essentially being equal on both sides. The typical format is a simple mirroring of word order, however this one is special in that it mirrors the order of the letters. Additionally, extra meaning and detail can be discovered in the reverse reading of this poem, making it slightly offset.) Enjoy this 'offset-palindroem' offering to the goddess, Lilith; the true first lady, who believed in pure equality between sexes, including the act of sex, as she refused to be submissive to Adam; ensuing sex instead in upright, 'one body two backs' position, an idea not akin to Adam, thus she was superior to Adam, transcending humanity (thus, the offset palindrome).  

P.S.S. I understand that some of the text herein appears unseemly, such as "Bone 'Rolle' dom", "Re-dundee devil", or "Edom spin slam in a night"... well, 'Edom' was an actual place of ancient times into which Lilith was cast, a place that became a barren desert because of her, "Rolle" references Rolle's Theorem and the upset of balance between sexes, and "Re-dundee" refers to her plight on those who attempt to dominate the serpent. Everything in this poem has direct or mostly direct reference to Lilith as she is seen theologically. Understand that this wasn't written for a mortal read. This was written as tribute to a goddess.

ON Eve's shore I play


Sam whispered more
Eve opened her door
