Snow Fall

Snow white crystals fall to the earth
Covering the world, the blanket the feather
Crisp freezing air surrounds us all
Knee deep trench of fallen snow
Red nose, rosy cheeks this we show
Yes we live in a world of craze
This peaceful rain has washed away
Making angels on the ground
Hot chocolate we all drank down
Lacing up those skates we go for a glide
Laughing and smiling this day gone right
Warm hats, cozy coats keep us safe
This snow fall is fallen down strong
Winds kick up a storm is coming
Trudging back home, leaving clothes on the floor
Snuggled up on the couch, snuggled tight
Turning the power on TV blaring
Not sure of what to do as the snow keeps falling
Kisses on the forehead we fell asleep
Carried upstairs laid to rest
Heat envelops as my blanket covers me
A simple I love you and out she goes
I never knew I'd lose her
Never lost her this soon
Dreams of her exit my eyes, tears fall
She was most important in my life
My mother, sweet mother now she flies
