The condition of our hearts

The heart is mentioned 743 times-
in the bible
So, I'm guessing it is pretty important-
to God
Lips can speak one thing-
but the heart be full of another
Words are deceitful
Often hiding evil
But the eyes usually scream-
what is inside the heart
Pretending people
Hidden buried hurt
More often hate
But always pain
Will remain
It is imperative to healing
To place all of your heart in front of God
He sees through any illusion
So running
Is only a self made delusion
He sees YOU
The light never sleeps
Wide awake
A burning fire
That wants to purify our hearts
If only we let Him in
He stands there waiting for us to understand
what He already knows
