the bitter taste are pain
fully expressed, my friend...

It has, dart, it has.
Sometimes you only need
to hiss and spit
a bit :-).

You know that I
mostly write about
things which concern
me somehow.
Fortunately
his dark poem isn't
about my feelings.

have to be

the smile is a weak barricade against her agony. your poem needs to be hugged & comforted...

Oh, so sweet words, John. They are
indeed comforting!

A smile is a good barricade to protect yourself against adversitiers from the outside.
But against your own deeply hidden feelings
which need to be released sometimes
it will not work.

The joyless smile. The silent suffering that is often the worst kind of suffering. "Bloodless wounds" could symbolize the type of damage this kind of internal stress creates. A bleeding wound can be merciful in comparison. Gotta let that hurt & anger out somehow. It's good for your health, even if your grievances are only heard by thin air. A lot of thought & emotion you've packed into this. I feel it.
