I lost a best friend

Have you ever lost your best friend,
and there was nothing you could do to get them back
because the damage was already done?
That's me.
I lost my best friend.
She truly believed I was talking behind her back when I wasn't.
I tried to explain,
but she wouldn't listen to me.
Next thing I know she cuts me off.
It's not the first time she said she'd cut me off,
but this time she was really serious.
What am I suppose to do without my best friend?
Move on,
and find a better best friend I guess.
It's crazy though
because a week after she cuts me off she wants to be friends again,
but I was fed up with her,
and wasn't willing to take her back.
She put me through hell,
and as a best friend I stayed with her,
but not now.
You let me go.
I officially lost my best friend.
