13/01/11.

In times of day,
Where bully sun would
Strike down at me ray
By ray
There came a pithy
Sanctum bright;
The aloof night and hazy
Moon.

And now I stand here,
Boiling in the dirge of
Modern humidity -
Howling like
A paltry pup –
Where has my moon gone?
Where is he?
I do not wish to live in sun;
I’ve always closed my eyes to light -
If I am forced to bathe in heat
Then I do not want eyes at all.
