the neon winks a flay of glass,

for moles in holes

these journeys itch clean
of concrete tombs,
skunk & stench
in the corners of our eyes...

they are piles of stone
to barrow.home,
a bas-relief
to bear the clouds

outlived alive, up close & personal,
clearing throats & threat of death
in beds of dirt & trouble...

in thickets of rackets
(& kept in-house)
like beaming buds,

the rocks relax in vain
for monuments,
clamored up dry
with a wisp of weight,

resonated mules
to the path of swine
& the creeping caw
of creak & crane,

choking cloth & open neck,
what day must come
for a blade of whims
to storm on point?

What time-worn prize
will pierce the puzzle?
Guzzle this close
& watch your throat:

the shriek behind,
a sparking wall,
grinding whet with hope
& signed...

a slice of hell
with likewise mind...

beam & smile...
