just us talking again
the way we used to

I think you are right a lot of people can relate to this.
In the meanwhile I am really hoping he will actually call me....

It is kind of ironic but this poems brings back memories from the past for me as well --I know he loves me very much, but then as now he prefers to communicate indirectlywith me. Back then I could not fathom why -- nowadays I have a better understanding of why he acts a certain way but still sometimes it is hard and I wish he would just call me already.....

Poets know this feeling all to well. It's these heart shattering moments that push us to points where we can tap into the human condition and really relate to any other broken soul. Keep the great work going. You're a talented gal.

Thank you for being so encouraging and able to relate to my poetry.... indeed we poets can be pretty sensitive, which makes us very vulnerable at times, but this sensitivity is often the fountain of our creativity also..... :)
