I Return to Maya
I walk again on the halls
Of my Maya world
Upon its walls hang
Old and dried whispers of promises
Echoes of old footsteps
resounds in the furthest corner
of the ethereal world
under netherworld of broken dreams
Promises given and broken
wishes become mere thoughts
never told and never heard
Vows never fulfilled
I tack new promises on the wall
Pledge of devotion
To obey and to serve
To love and to embrace
Loneliness within the soul
longing within the heart
they will be whole
Live as One.
