FRAUDULENCE

Take a look around you; the people you know don’t exist                    
They just project what they want the world to see                    
What they want you to know                    
You’re just like them – a kernel of truth wrapped in deceit                    
I’m just like them – a kernel of truth wrapped in deceit                    
                     
We’re born into a never-ending vicious cycle of dishonesty and resentment                    
We know no love        
No rest                    
                     
Year after year - we put so much effort into the charade                    
Will we care when we forget our own truths?                    
                     
Everyone lies                    
It never ends, it never dies               
                     
The world is burning, but you don’t know why                    
You won’t last long, my friend                    
     
"Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit.      
The poison of vipers is on their lips.      
Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness.      
Their feet are swift to shed blood; ruin and misery mark their ways, and the way of peace they do not know.      
There is no fear of God before their eyes."  Romans 3:13-18

All we do is swim through incessant waves of contempt                    
Nothing ever changes, and all we seem to wait for is the inescapable end
