Emancipation
You have held me in bondage long enough
Trapped by your feel, your smell, your touch
My heart made weak
My countenance made pale
Now I crawl from under you sail
No longer carried away by winds of desire
Nor driven by the currents of comfort
My anchor is released
My resolve has taken hold
My soul escaping
Out of the ashes of addiction
I arise
Out of the smoke of compulsion
I flee
Out of the dust of defeat
I am now breaking free.
