Shower

thousands of drops of water racing through an old pipe
a plastic crystal to choose the waters temperature and falling type
hot water running across a naked body and down a curved back
hands messaging away the stress and letting it go all slack
long hair laying so wet and smooth, so flat against skin
like the stripes of a tiger, glistening so, revealing the beauty within
hands rub the sweet smelling goo onto her arms
her body and mind surrendering to a hot showers charms
her eyes closed to the world, hot water washing it all away
but hot water can't make all the pain and stress all away stay
she piles wet hair on top of her head, so high
and as she rubs the shampoo against her skull, she can't help but sigh
it always feels so good to become clean
after all the world can be so very mean
she lets the water take it all away from her
to be clean and smooth is what she prefers
and after her shower is all over and done
and then getting all dried only adds to a showers fun
