I hope... Espero que...( in dual languages)

¡Maldito destino, que perverso eres!
Permitiste que lo amase y que él,
una vez más, me hiriese.
En este infortunado trayecto aprendí
que el pasado debe quedarse en el pasado;

Accursed fate, wicked thing you are!
You allowed me to love him
and he, once more to hurt me.
In this unfortunate journey I have learned,
that the past should stay in the past;
the madness of love not can be relived
without the repeat of its pain,
for it was and is a sin.

Everything in life has a price; sweet and licentious,
this sentiment would demand the maximum penalty
for the divine lust that we dared to enjoy.
The bitter fare, I paid twice, for loving you so much
and yet, the remarkable thing is that I would
do it again even knowing the outcome.

I love you since childhood, and yet,
now as a woman, and probably until my last breath,
even if, in this life I never see you again.
You, my beloved torment,
since always and till forever shall be
because this love and your memory,
never shall I forget.

Cerraré mis lagrimosos ojos
ocultándolos del mundo,
para que nadie sea testigo
de la agonía que yo oculto.
Llevaré esta condena en silencio,
hablarlo está prohibido,
solo con garabatos de mis recuerdos
sobre hojas de papel escribo,
con títulos poéticos y mano trémula,
los eventos del ayer.

I will close my tear reamed eyes
to conceal them from the world,
so no one is witness to the
agony that I wish not to reveal.
I will bear this sentence in silence,
to of speak it is forbidden,
only with scrawls of my recollections
on sheaves paper I write,
with poetical titles and tremulous hand,
the events of yesterday.

There, in perpetuity you live, within exquisite
adjectives and verbs chosen by me,
to allow the depths of my pain to be expressed.
I shall speak your name only in my dreams,
recalling prohibitive nights of love
that aroused my forgotten dreams.

Cuando el aire, con aroma a gardenia,
mi dulce recuerdo evoque,
espero que te duela tanto o más
como ahora a mí me duele.

When the air, perfumed by gardenias,
my sweet memory evokes,
I hope that it hurts you as much
if not more, as it now hurts me.
