Fog of doubt

Head's in a fog,
Thick and noxious smog,
Unsure which way to turn,
Trying to avoid the burn,
Scalding glares,
What had caused these flares,
Feeling more on the outside,
Once welcomed now denied,
Staring through cracks in the wall,
Not feeling very tall,
Paranoia of what has been proclaimed,
How far have I been defamed,
Subtly driven back,
To remain on the outer track,
Not wanting to make waves,
Hiding in numerous caves,
No longer seen,
Careful of where I have been,
Thought I was doing the right,
Not seems I am a blight,
Travelling through the haze,
Stumbling around in a daze,
Trying to sort myself  out,
Working through my self doubt,
No one realises why,
As I sit here unable to cry,
Just sit and  look,
Looking like a blank book,
No emotion found,
Deep inside there is no silent sound,
A few treat me rather curt,
Not knowing that I am also hurt,
As I slink back to home,
Careful of where I roam,
Not wanting to step on toes,
Circled by a murder of crows,
Not a welcomed sight to see,
Dwelling not on this thought,
Security of home is now sought,
Retiring away to fix me.
