THE NURSES

They are dedicated to the work
not one wants to shirk
I looked around ,they were all busy
not one needed to be told
making beds, looking after patients like gold
ward sister was on the go
making sure nothing stopped the flow.
suddenly an emergency
screens placed around the bed
nothing could be done
the poor man was dead
the nurses cleaned up and after a while
still managed to smile.
the dedication of these nurses
who carry on regardless
what teamwork they have got
dedication they have the lot
