Best Decision I've Made

I drove up to see him..
I saw him in his truck
and my nerves got the best of me
but decided I dont give a fuck.

Before he even got out
he looked at me and smiled...
with out words he grabbed me up
kissed me like I haven't felt in a while.

We talked for hours over coffee
and he made me laugh so much
He told me he loved the way I am
and how he couldn't get enough.

We lost track of time
and I savored every minute we had
he wanted to get out of working today
and I wanted him to so bad.

But as he started to get in his truck
he yelled out the window at me
he said he hadn't had a great time like that
and he couldn't wait to see me.

he hurried up got out,
ran right to my car
I was surprised when he pulled me out
and just wrapped his arms around.

My head on his shoulder
and on my tippy toes
I felt so safe in his big arms
and I'm glad that I chose.....

 to give it another chance
and quit thinking so dumb.
I'm glad I didn't do what I was going to
I want him to be the one.

His blue eyes saw right through me
as his arms wrapped around my waist..
he kissed me so sweet and I knew just then
maybe this is fate.
