Mere Words...
It’s been a year now
since I joined DUP
Mere words are not enough
to show my gratitude
to all my poetic friends:
Gypsy Red, Grace, Kitty,
MadameLavander, Magdalena,
Your poetic geniuses seep
Like Rain courting my heart…
Peace through poetry
says my brother Strider,
Fuck that Craic and Evan would say,
Hear the Soulful rendition
of brother JazzManor
It could tame even the wildest blocat…
All of you have played a role
to make this diamond
in the rough—a precious gem
To all those that I intentionally left out
You are all special to me
so don’t hold a grudge
as we continue our journey
in this special place:
Deep Underground Poetry
as the Webmistress calls it.
Once again, thank you
my DUP family and friends…
your continuous moral support
and outpouring kindness
will forever remain
in my heart
as we move on
to another year!

I think I'm the oldest here next to Mr. Burkard...(just a year shy to 6 decades). Sometimes less is better, so they say!
Thanks as usual bro. Jazz...

Still makes you younger then Paul McCartney, who only started to look old when he got divorced.

Thank you Grace for helping me grow and cultivate my writing ability. It's only been two years since I immersed myself into poetry. How I wish I started earlier when I was younger. I guess I have nothing to write back then...

You are very well deserving Strider...with so many diverse poems under your belt, I consider you as one of the greatest writer of the decade and better than some of the writers in the past centuries.
