How can you say such hurtful things?

Because when I think about you
and all the senseless loss...

It feels like my mind
is melting,
my heart
is being stabbed
and my soul
is being ripped from my body

It's not about
where we've been,
what's been done
or that fallacy of love
infatuation

But rather it's
the things we never ended up doing,
all the places
I'd once hoped to see us going,
the loss of hope
for us
and all my dreams to boot.
