Light....Between Spaces

The space...
between my tears and the rest of
my face...
Is bridged with...
A certain type of rage...

As I turn every page
Of my story...
Hoping the Hellions of Fate
Choose to ignore me...
Hoping the Daughter Of Destiny
Chooses to adore me....

Oh how I implore thee
As I try to bid better
times.... in my life
Seems like the harder
I try for Happiness
I only seem to encounter more strife
As I ponder what sick game
this must be....
Been feeling like the Trials Of Job
Have fallen deftly upon me
I wipe my eyes...
Yet I still cant clearly see
As I walk through the valley
Of the Shadow Of Death...
I breath slow...and shallow breaths
Wondering...
If being in this place has a purpose at all
Pondering if my cries to the Heavens...
Is even heard....at all.

So I search...
For the Light... between the spaces
Of My mind... where hope& despair are
Completely intertwined
Where pain & joy peer deep from the same eyes
Where Judgment is passed
On My Truth as well as my lies
In the dark searching to find my way...
I listen to the Whispering Shadows
Along the way
I peer inside the darkness
The darkest of places
I search to find the Light
Between the Spaces
