Patience Is Hard, But I'll Wait
When our fingers touch
I feel electrical currents
If we ever stop bleeding
I’ll make this love flourish
This whole situation
Has left us mentally clinical
Cry my name from you straight jacket
Because I miss ever syllable
I’d run to you
With anchors stuck in my shins
If you’d piece my heart together
With these safety pins
We’re as cold and dead
As the trees outside
But as these cracked lips touch
I’ve never felt so alive
Hold me tighter
I can barely hear your bones creak
Lie next to me forever
In our swamp filled memory
Slowly and in august
We sink and die together
Our lips were locked at death
Our final kiss now lasts forever
Like my band VanaX on facebook if you liked my writing! thank you!
