PEACE VIA PAIN !!!

Written for the competition "Pain to Peace"

The solitude and myself
kept walking hand in hand
the wounds were not ready to heal
my ruby lips always stitched and sealed.

Careless of what world speaks
Fed into the day night shrieks
Surprising scars with each new day
Pushing closer to the dark way.

Haunted dreams with scary screams
Unrevealing ecstasy it surely seems
The trials of love and pain attached
Its possibly impossible to detach.

Soon,when I tried playing with my shadow
Ray of light started peeping through the window
Confused, unsure, ignoring this act
Locked the room not knowing how to react.

Eventually started seeking soul with the last attempt
Taken aback, I successfully acknowledged thyself
Power of hope overcame the power of pain
Peaceful spirit was plastered in my heart and brain.
