Denied Truth

A thousand times I have tried to find the reason why...because of me you deny the truth that's in our hearts.

Words that hurt, strike with truth, but in a way that destroys the spirit of the connection... tainted by dark orbs, like a shadow that darkens the once flamboyant pair.

Increasingly... and I cannot see the tree that sits before me that shelters me from all that would without affect what is again me.

What has changed... not love between two souls, Not concern for one another, but maybe the understanding? What's needed by one for the other to thrive amongst the weeds that is outside of these walls...never realizing that the grass inside may hide unfertile seeds, weeds that somehow have entered soil enriched with nurtured love.
