Brought by rain

The war drums rumbled
The ground beneath me
I heard the screams of men
pierce both my ears and the skies
We were out numbered
it seemed no magic could stop them
Yet I didn't yield
I used my sword as my shield
and lifted it to charged my enemy
"Onward!!" my cry to charge
I cut them down
one by one
Leaving the blood on my face
to fuel our run.
We must fight, we must win!
This was more than a competition.
This was business, this was war
Our morale was boosted
My men howled for more
The grey skies brought rain
And kept our minds sane
One beautiful thing
In this chaos and pain
I fought ruthless
Cleaving heads
Depleting their meds
Coldly slaughtering
Leaving them dead
This hill was no obstacle
We still moved about
Quickly and gracefully
We put their lights out
Their stronghold fell weak
As they fell to their knees
We ripped their flag down
As we screamed in our glee
Like a pack of wolves
"Crush our enemies!!"
