Wicked Rant #23: Rock That Hoodie, Chump

A friend just posted a meme that said "Imagine if we lived in a world where George Zimmerman saw Trayvon walking home in the rain and gave him a ride home." I'd bet dollars to donuts this friend has never done anything of the sort.
Yeah, I'll get indignant. I hate this fuckin' hypocrisy. Personally, in the last 6 months, I gave a homeless black dude $40 when I had $90 in the bank because he had this sad sack story about how he shit himself. After getting out of a bar late, a toothless crackhead asked for a dollar. I asked if he wanted a sandwich. He said he wanted some malt liquor. So, I bought us a couple of 40's and hotdogs, went back to his place for a couple hours and talked about dead parents and drugs and homelessness and struggle... he kept his place very tidy, put me to shame. Last month, I broke up a fight between a couple lil mexicans on bart cuz it was scaring the lady folk. Even though I'm thousands and thousands of dollars in debt, i REGULARLY buy dinner for homeless, give them $10, $20, when most of y'all, who make more money than me can't even spare ONE dollar. I gave a kid $20 THIS MORNING, because I could see in his eyes he was a GOOD MAN, which is FUCKING RARE.
With all your bluster, do you know the feeling of having a fellow human on the precipice of life breakdown in tears in your arms because you gave them $20, which is NOTHING to you, but might be EVERYTHING to them? When nobody is looking? No, right? Never got around to it?
What the fuck have you done? Maybe a lil well publicized volunteer work with a bunch of other spoiled white kids, basking in the glow of how you're changing the world, a 99% circle-jerk? Me? I'm flawed beyond all recognition, but this hypocritical culture makes me a fuckin' SUPERHERO.
Oh, but now ONE black kid gets shot buy a LIGHT SKINNED man, with many extenuating circumstances, and all you IVORY TOWER LIBERALS want to get all high and mighty like you're defenders of justice and honor and compassion and goodwill? FUCK YOU KIDS. You ain't smart, I don't care what piece of paper you got that says you are. You ain't enlightened, I don't care how many Mother Jones articles you read. You ain't kind, I don't care what your mamma tells you. You're not Men and Women, I don't care how many kids you have. You're a caricature. You're hollow. You're weak, and appear as though you should be, but you're not, because you get held up by this "system" you're so quick to slam.
If the world were fair, like you claim to want it, a lot of you would be crackheads. Because, essentially, you don't deserve your station in life. Its been gifted to you, and you're squandering it, because you're not exceptional, but you live in a sphere of overwhelming communication, so you've been inundated with concepts of compassion and love and coolness and exceptional virtues of man, and you've just adopted them as self identification.
That crackhead, who kept his shithole spotless, had more integrity in his pinky then most of you have in your entire family. It's a fucking joke how quick this pussy-ass generation is to pat themselves on the back! Yeah, go lock yourselves up, shed a tear for Trayvon, you're the acme of humanity, you are... CHUMPS.
