Fly~

Deep inside these bitter wall's
cold steel rest's, a cage holding
me here, locked on the outside
I sit on my knobby perch,
claws wrapped around tight,
will I ever feel the wind under my
wings again,
will rain drops land gently on
my feathers ever again,
would my wings even flap anymore
if I got the chance,
why hold me,
cage me,
I'd look even more beautiful
if I could fly
