The Guy That He Was

The guy that he was
And the man that he is now

I sense a change. .

After five and a half years of knowing him
I know his deepest secret
But I don't know his daily routine

Funny it is. .

He has been my best friend (I wish we alwyas stayed that way)
He has been 'the special one' (I guess that's where we went wrong)

I know I made a mistake. .

I have seen his extreme love (not for me though)
Seen his super hate (all for me)

Atleast I got some importance. .

I have seen him crying for her
Whereas I kept shedding tears for him

The so called 'Unconditional Love'. . Eff it. . !!

Fun at the work place
To the pain, the hurt, the tears on the only trip we had

We have seen it all. .

He thought that he was an option for me
Well yeah. . may be. . the only option I wanted

Rather loved. . Damn it. . !!

I guess I failed to make him realize it all
But i know my eyes never failed

Couldn't he just see through. .

Love. . Betrayal. . Ego. . Misunderstandings. .
Expectations. . Miscommunication. . Anger. . Hate. .

Wow. . !! So dramatic. .

I wish I could atleast hate him for a day for The Man That He Is Now
But my bad. . I will always love him for The Guy That He Was
