sleep paralysis or "The old hag"?

Awake inside my dreams the sensation is strange
toss and turn over to my back and then um face wit pain
why is the devil on my chest??? is temptation tuh blame?
am I just like tha rest? will he bribe me wit riches, maybe fame?
I call on the lord name i try interlacing my fingers to a prayer position
but I cant be heard or move wishin somebody was there tuh witness
maybe they've been trying to tell me sumthin but I've been scared tuh listen
devil! it'll all be better if u didnt pay my nightmares uh visit
all this purp in my spliff ,um high as fuck thinkin is this a curse or a gift?
on nights alone um lyk is this tha microphone or tha grim reapers scythe ?
fuck it...I just hope the old hag lets me sleep tonight
