Missing Queen

Today is a day I wish I would never remember,
I woke up alone without my queen,
I looked under the covers to only discover 2 feet,
I proceeded to blink … Blink,
Praying for a bad dream,
Today my heart missed a beat,
Where's my kiss on my cheek,
Baby You wouldn't leave?
Or am I denying this moment that's capturing me?
Queen of my life,
My soul,
My smile,
My reason,
Without you there's only one season,
A year of winter snow,
And every step I take is uneven,
Tonight's the night I wish I wouldn't remember,
I went to bed without my queen,
I crawled under the covers,
Only to discover ,no love was in between
I dream of my queen
