Soothed Tears

Torrents of
tears soothed
the heaving chest
the pumping heart
Hold me in the sway
in its sad disquieting
rhythm of hiccups
Sad sadness in
loneliness

Elsewhere
In answering
voices soothed
by reaching out in
kind comforting words
“Fear not for the time is
near, when the end comes
It will be for you, in your arms
the haven, a comfort, a real safe
place, a sanctuary for one who cares
about your wants your needs,” it
whispers…

The tears will fall no more
Like the raindrops from
High up the heavens
dried by the bright
sun and the joy
of dreams to
be loved,
to love
be One
at last.
