Get some clothes on, it ain’t proper!

Get some clothes on, it ain’t proper!

The clock is ticking; strident and clear in my head.
The longer I wait; the superior that it gets.
Deprived of salvation, may our lexis be true.
You see my beloved soldier; it was by no means eternally you.
You leave out the rhyme, within your precious modest song.
But I gave up listening, for what feels like so long.
I signify this with Integrity; I will not disperse my breath for you.
You were my skin and bone, my comrade; I was just the despondency in you.
They don’t require the information, for they already knew.
And it was just a subject of era; enlighten me, who really showed who?
My life is without any doubt at ease, and content, I am falling further on.
Should there be a standoff with the truth that I’ve moved on?
I gave up a long time ago. There! I’ve said my tranquil facade.
So you can by all means move on; abscond this darn crusade.
Thursday, you were my companion. And collectively, we watched them swim.
But it doesn’t matter now, nothing does. I am happy with him.
