'Poetic Buffet'

note: (this is a mixture of poetic style all in one, acrostic, couplelet and freeverse...hope THAT makes it easier to comprehend :) )




R~eady, get set to move on...
I~nfantile behavior be gone!
S~alvation be the light.
E~bullient tendencies are left... right?

A~utonomous thought set in...
G~enial mindset an apparent sin.
A~llocate mixed emotions for their proper order.
I~mplausible possibilities head south of the border!
N~ow is the time for the poet to speak...

they say he do as he do, so many haven't a clue
why is it that he won't accept leaving behind a few?

to seek knowledge, is a trip that he'll ever take
sometimes he fails but, won't slam on the brake

he's a part of a whole... succinct with the rest
reeping the praise, ah yeah they passed the test

singleminded goal to be openminded not blinded
by simpleminded folk who don't search to find it

again he's a eater of knowledge, yet always ready to share
feeder to the many, heart full of love with plenty to spare...

I walk through life with my head in the clouds....
ask a lot of questions, yet answers uncertain...
yes, love is beautiful as much as it hurts,
so I'm gonna follow a path no matter where it leads
as I suck in fresh air...
take in all that there is, and then live til I die.
